Positive Psychology

Positive psychology focuses on what is healthy and strong in people (qualities) and on positive experiences people have. All applications from positive psychology are scientifically based.

When children, teenagers and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or other neurodevelopmental disorders are encouraged to use their positive emotions and traits, it can greatly affect their lives: thought patterns change, success experiences occur, and they learn to cope with stress and problems. As a result, self-esteem and well-being are enhanced. Instead of providing extra support or adjusting the environment, tools are provided for a proactive attitude.
